Payment & Terms Rent - Terms - References - Bills - Internet The rent is £695 per calendar month. A damage deposit of £1000 plus the first month's rent is required before occupancy of the flat. This deposit will be returned within 7 days of the end of the tenancy. The lease will initially be for 6 months, although this may be extended if both parties are happy with each other. Personal, employment and bank references will be required and checked before occupancy of the flat. The service charge and water rates are already included in the rent. The tenant will be required to pay the electricity (usually around £20 per month in summer and £30 per month in winter - this is very low due to Economy 7 storage heaters and hot water boiler), council tax (around £75 per month for dual occupancy or £55 per month for single occupancy), phone line (if required - £10 per month), TV licence (if required - £10 per month). ADSL Broadband internet is available if you wish to pay for this directly to the supplier - the current tenants are using the Tiscali service which costs around £15 per month (there may be a small connection fee).
